Make Your Own Hand-quilted Coasters with Guest Instructor Rosewood Stitches

November 17 | 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. | $35

In this workshop, participants will learn hand-quilting basics with a small and approachable project. Students will learn what makes up a quilt, basic quilt construction and simple hand-sewing stitches and techniques. Students will end the class with a mini quilt that can be used as a coaster or hung to display around their home. 

This class is beginner friendly. All materials will be supplied.

About the guest instructor

Courtney Moddle (they/them), of Rosewood Stitches, is an experienced textile artist who loves having the opportunity to craft in community and to share their knowledge and skills with others. Their favourite crafts include quilting, knitting, garment sewing and natural dyes.
