Join No Crafts, a skilled QBIPOC ceramic artist, for a dynamic series of ceramic handbuilding workshops! This series is perfect for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists, and focuses on both structured projects or open studio time to explore your creativity.

The workshop series consists of two classes. You can attend one workshop for $35 or both for $60. For the first class, please check out Session 1: Introduction to Handbuilding Techniques and register here! For the second class, read below!

Session 2: Advanced Handbuilding and Personal Projects will build on techniques learned in Session 1: Introduction to Handbuilding Techniques. This class will introduce participants to more complex forms and textures and will encourage them to start personal projects. Participants will receive individual guidance from the instructor for custom pieces, as well as will have time to decorate with underglaze and open studio time for creative exploration.

Participants will be able to pick up their finished piece after they have been fired twice and the instructor has applied a final layer of clear glaze; approximately 3-4 weeks.

All materials are included. Suitable for all levels. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials, though not expected.

About the Guest Instructor

Noni Vatish of No Crafts is a QBIPOC ceramic and stained glass artist from Kitchener, ON. Her work is deeply rooted in the celebration of her inner child and the joy it brings to others. Each piece she creates is a unique, originally designed work of art, reflecting her commitment to authenticity and creativity.

No Crafts specializes in crafting one-of-a-kind ceramics and stained glass items that blend practicality with aesthetic delight. The aim is to make art accessible, offering a diverse range of pieces at various price points to ensure everyone can find something that resonates with them.
