Join 2023 Print Artist in Residence, Issy De Tullio, at Otherwise Studios in exploring printmaking without ink, by embossment using relief techniques.
During this workshop you will learn to carve Lino block, and use its negative space to turn paper into a beautifully textured embossment.
Participants get to create their own embossed print edition. Artists and printmakers of all experience levels are welcome.
All materials will be supplied.

About Issy
Isabella “Issy” De Tullio is a Guelph based multi-disciplinary artist and the first recipient of the Otherwise Studios Printmaking Residency Prize. She is interested in sharing the collective joy of creation, and playfully resisting the “rules” of art-making. Therefore, Issy has decided to share her discoveries from her residency by leading this workshop. Her practice seeks to bridge the perspective gap between ever-accumulating personal lore and our inflexible reality through the use of coded imagery and familiar material.
