Between silly inside jokes and the DIY aesthetics, EMILY REIMER's work has an odd way of sneaking its way into our hearts. Her work uses mundane and comedic gesture to investigate the nuances of human relationships to objects, ideas, and one another.
Reimer focuses on understanding gender, childhood, and upbringing. She does this through an interdisciplinary practice of performance, intervention, book works and drawing, often working in close collaboration with family members.
