Natural colour is all around us, hiding within leaves, berries, bark, seeds and flowers. A variety of techniques can be used to create inks and paints with these materials. In this workshop we will explore the magic of using foraged materials and kitchen waste to create colour! We will create colour swatches, we will experiment with shifting colours through modifiers, and we will make postcards using natural inks.

All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring dried flowers, onion skins, avocado skins and pits, and any other materials that you’d like to experiment with!

To ensure willing participants have access to educational opportunities, please email Ahmri at info@otherwisestudios.com if you face financial barriers and share why you are interested in joining the class. We can provide up to two complimentary spots in this workshop.
